Surprise!

This weekend we made another trip up to Clemson! We left Saturday morning in time to get up there in time for a quick lunch at Pot Belly Deli. After lunch we headed over to the Brooks Center for the CUTBA meeting where Trey was elected to the board! He's really excited! After the meeting, we went shopping in Downtown Clemson for a bit until it was time to head to Anderson for Elizabeth's surprise birthday party! Here are some pictures from the party:

We also got our old camera back! lots of long lost pictures including ones from last football season and the pictures we took on our honeymoon. I'll be posting some of those soon!

Dinning Room Chairs: Before and After

I finally got around to re-upholstering our dinning room chairs! There are still two in the attic that I haven't gotten to yet, but the four that are down here are done!

This weekend we were on the road again to Columbia. Friday night, everyone came over to Trey's mom's house for her birthday party. We had dinner and yummy ice cream cake, it was a lot of fun! Here are some pictures:

Saturday was Carly's Wedding! It was at a church out on Lake Murray, the reception was just outside the church, you could see the lake in the background, it was so pretty. Here are some pictures:

Now on to the title of this post... We went to another church this Sunday, and we really liked it! We're going to go there a few more times to make sure it's where we're supposed to be, but we're so excited!

Day trip to Clemson

Trey and I made the trip up to Clemson on Monday to see the Tigers play Alabama in the third game of the Clemson super regional. We made the drive up Monday morning in time to have a quick lunch then head over to Doug Kingsmore Stadium to watch the game. We were lucky enough to be in the shade for the first half of the game, so we were only in the sun for about an hour or so, and I managed to not get sun burned! yay!

After the game we went to the ice cream shop on campus to cool off a bit, then we walked around campus and took some pictures for a little project we've been meaning to do for a while (more on that later, when we actually finish). After that, we had a quick dinner and headed back home. It was a long day, but so much fun!

Melissa's Married!

This weekend, my friend Melissa got married! The festivities for me began on Thursday with the Bachelorette party! All of the bridesmaids met up in Columbia for a night of fun before heading to Aiken for the rest of the wedding weekend. Friday afternoon, some of the girls went to get their nails done all pretty for the big day before heading to the church for the rehearsal. After the rehearsal, we had a delicious dinner to celebrate the happy soon to be married couple! After the dinner, the girls went back to Melissa's room for some girl time before heading our separate ways for the night. Saturday was the big day! Here are the pictures from the weekend:

We're so excited for Peter and Melissa! and now they are enjoying a fabulous honeymoon in Rome and then on a western Mediterranean cruise! I know they're going to have such a good time, and when they come back we'll have some more friends in Aiken!

Lifehouse and Daughtry!

This past weekend Trey and I, along with our friends Tate and Carrie, went to see Lifehouse and Daughtry in concert in Atlanta! Saturday afternoon we headed over to Carrie's parents' house (they liver super close to the concert venue). We had some delicious burgers for dinner and hung out for a while before heading to the concert. It was a lot of fun! it was a little loud.. haha, but they were so good! Charleston!

Trey and I spent this weekend in Charleston! A bunch of our friends from Clemson all came down for a fun weekend at the beach! Trey and I got down there a little earlier than the rest of the group so we spent a little time in downtown Charleston by ourselves. We had a great time walking down by the water and shopping in the market, then we headed to Tate's apartment in North Charleston to meet up with everyone. Saturday, we spent the day at the beach.. might have gotten a little toasty... but it was a lot of fun. Here are some pictures from the weekend:

Sunday I had a bridal shower for my friend Melissa, her wedding is June 12! I can't believe it's almost here. Sunday night we had dinner with Trey's mom. Abbie was there with Caroline.. look at that face:

Monday we did a little shopping in Columbia, then had lunch with my mom before we headed back to Aiken. It was a busy but fun long weekend!
