The Search for a Church Continues

This past weekend Trey and I were home in Aiken again so we were able to try another church.. again it wasn't for us, so we'll keep searching. Hopefully we'll find something soon!

I finished my first decoupage project this week, flour and sugar canisters. I had been searching and searching for brown canisters and could find them nowhere, so i decided I would decoupage the lids of some clear ones we found at Target:

We also decided to start a little herb garden on our deck:

Hopefully I'll be able to keep them alive, and we'll have fresh parsley, basil, and a jalapeno or two!

I also got to scrapbook this week; I finally finished sophomore year at Clemson! I still have a lot left to do before I finally catch up!

Katie and Dave are Married!!

This weekend we were in Columbia for our good friends Katie and Dave's wedding! We had so much fun, it was so nice for everyone to be back together! Here are the pictures from the weekend, there's a lot of them, I might have gone a little picture crazy with our NEW CAMERA!

The Masters

This weekend Trey and I were lucky enough to go to the Masters! Two of our friends from Clemson had extra tickets and gave them to us! They came down Thursday night and went to the Masters on Friday while Trey and I hung out at the apartment. On Saturday and Sunday we all went! We had such a good time! Sadly we have no pictures since you're not allowed to bring a camera on tournament days.. very sad. On Saturday we spent most of the day on hole 16 watching everyone come through. Sunday we got there early so we could sit our chairs down on the 18 green and then wandered around the course watching a few different holes before we headed back to 18 to watch the final few groups to play through. It was so exciting seeing everyone finish, and I'm so glad Phil won, he's my favorite! We had so much fun, and I managed to only get a little sunburned!

long time coming

apologies again for the lack of posts! Here's a quick recap of the past few weeks:

The first two weekends after the last post were spent in Columbia. The first was for a shower for our friends Katie and Dave, the next weekend we had TWO weddings to go to! The first was for Beth Conner, one of Trey's childhood friends. The second was for Krista Anderson, one of my friends from nursing school. Here are some pictures from Krista's wedding:

We were also able to watch Hunter and Caroline for a while during the weekend of the weddings. Here are a couple of pictures of the cuties:

Last weekend we were back in Columbia and then up to Rock Hill for Easter. On friday night, I had a bachelorette party for my friend Katie. It was so much fun to have some time with just the girls! Saturday night, we were able to have dinner with my mom, it was definitely good to catch up with her. Sunday after church we headed up to Rock Hill to have Easter lunch at Mee Maw's. We stayed the night in Rock Hill and headed back to Aiken Monday morning.

We have an exciting couple of weekends coming up! Tomorrow and Sunday we're going to the Masters with a couple of friends, and next weekend our good friends Katie and Dave are getting married!
